“Professor Newton’s Science Show” – A High-Energy Assembly Performance
Looking for a more theatrical experience? Will Hatch also presents Professor Newton’s Science Show, a fast-paced, fun-filled science assembly that combines live experiments, storytelling, and audience interaction.
This performance-style program is a hit with students, teachers, and PTA leaders—and reinforces science concepts while keeping kids laughing and learning.
Come along with Professor Newton as he shows you and your students some of the most incredible, interactive science experiments you've ever seen! A true STEAM education experience! Your kids will learn about gravity, air pressure, fluid dynamics, chemical reactions, and so much more! It won't be all mixing test tubes – Professor Newton uses a Van de Graaff generator, leaf blowers, polymers, math algorithms, and more to show kids science experiments they'll never forget. In fact, not only will your students learn scientific principles at the assembly, they'll also be taught how to do many experiments at home!

The Character Lab
A High-Energy Science Show That Builds Better People
Where STEM meets social-emotional learning.
In this unforgettable school assembly, students explore character-building traits through thrilling science demos, comedy, and interactive learning. Ideal for K–6 students, this show brings science and personal growth together in a way kids love—and remember.
Great for:
✅ Elementary school assemblies
✅ STEM enrichment days
✅ SEL and PBIS programming
✅ Library shows and summer camps
This is not your average science show!
Each character trait comes to life through an engaging, grade-appropriate experiment or visual demonstration that makes the message click—and stick.
Demo: Newton’s First Law – The Egg Drop
When you're responsible, things don’t break down—just like when Newton’s First Law is respected. This classic egg drop demo shows what happens when we fail to support others… and what it takes to catch responsibility before it hits the floor.
Demo: Ping Pong Ball Balance
Preparation is everything—whether you're facing the school day or launching a ping pong ball into the air and catching it on your nose! Students learn how being ready (with the right tools and mindset) leads to powerful outcomes.
Demo: Step Through a Piece of Paper
Can you walk through a hole in a single sheet of paper? With the right approach—yes! This surprising trick helps students understand how being teachable unlocks new perspectives and abilities.
Demo: Tablecloth Pull Challenge
Watch what happens when self-control is used to carefully pull a tablecloth without toppling anything. Then see what chaos comes from losing control! A funny, visual way to show why self-regulation matters.
Demo: Van de Graaff Generator (Static Electricity Hair-Raiser!)
Attitude is electric—literally! With this hair-raising demo, students learn how a positive attitude can spark energy and joy in others… or how a bad attitude can zap the room.
Demo: Ventriloquist Puppet Routine
Mistakes happen. In this heartwarming and humorous act, a sock puppet is produced piece-by-piece using "magic" and learns about differences in people, saying sorry, and moving on. A powerful message wrapped in laughter, story, and connection.
